  • Though a Progressive, this is one of the issues where I break ranks with liberal doctrine. These scum of the earth predators should be put to death & soon. Not 20 years down the road. I would personally pull the lever, flip the switch or pull the trigger without hesitation.

  • I hear the bombastic, doom-laden fear mongering but you haven't addressed any of my points. As for the country going broke, The U.S. spends more on it's military than the NEXT 16 countries combined. We could drastically slash those expenditures and still have the mightiest military in the world.

  • I'm a bit disappointed by Obama so far but I can't help but wonder what he may have accomplished if the GOP & bought-off Red-Dog Dems hadn't opposed every move he's made. If he came up with a cure for cancer the right-wing would come up with some ludacris rationale to oppose it.

  • Don't agree with the Reds as trade losers. Rolen could pay off in the cozy confines of GABP. I've watched Encarnacion for 5 years and if he ever develops into anything but a disappointment I'll be very surprised. The Reds need to shake things up & make some bold moves. This was a good start.

  • I didn't know Frank Thomas's numbers were that outstanding. Although he played during the 'Steroid Era", like Griffey he's never been implicated to PED's. I'd have to agree that he's 1st ballot worthy. Downside is the DH factor and less than 2500 hits.
